Stāsts
Denijs (Jet Li) ir psiholoģiski sagrauts cilvēks, kurš ilgu laiku dzīvo kā suns. Jau kopš bērnības viņš tiek turēts krātiņā un dresēts kā nikns suns, kuram jāsargā un jāpakļaujas saimniekam.

Saimnieks ir Bārts (Bob Hoskins), nežēlīgs parādu piedzinējs, kuram patīk noskatīties vardarbībā...

Kad Bārts dodas piedzīt parādus, viņš ņem līdz Deniju, turot viņu pavadā ar metāla kakla siksnu. Denijs ir dresēts, lai tad, kad tiek noņemta viņa kakla siksna, viņš uzbruktu saimnieka ienaidniekiem un nežēlīgi izrēķinātos ar tiem.

Tomēr pienāk diena, kad Denijam ir iespēja aizbēgt no saimnieka ķetnām... Viņš bēg un sastop Semu (Morgan Freeman), aklu pianistu, kurš dzīvo kopā ar savu pameitu Viktoriju (Kerry Condon).

Sems parāda Denijam dzīvi pavisam citā gaismā, tomēr Deniju meklē viņa saniknotais saimnieks...

...varēja būt lieliska filma ar labiem galveno lomu aktieriem (Bobs tomēr vēl ir starp dzīvajaiem!kā man viņš patīk, laikam no "kurš nomočīja trusi rodžeru" laikiem ^___^...)...bet tā piņkšķēšana un bērnišķīgā uzvešanās lika man rūkt kā niknam sunim :x ....
