Būdami mazi, divi puikas, Juki un Garai savu acu priekšā redz iznīcību un slepkavības. Viņi dzīvoja Okinomabunes salā ar nieka 600 cilvēku populāciju, kad uz šīs zemes notika negaidītais...

Kādu dienu salā noplūda ASV izstrādāta slepenas gāzes ieroča rezerves, kura nosaukums ir MW jeb izrunājot „Mū”. Daudzi iedzīvotāji, ieelpojot, saindējās un, militāristu norīkotie slepenie cilvēki, sadedzinot un nošaujot, nogalināja pārējos. Sala tika pilnībā iznīcināta no jebkādas dzīvības, tomēr, paslēpušies, uz šiem notikumiem noskatījās Juki un Garai, kuriem vēlāk izdevās izbēgt no drošas nāves, patvērumu meklējot Tokijā...

Ir pagājuši vairāki gadi, Tokija. Juki (Hiroši Tamaki) ir kļuvis par ietekmīgu baņķieri, kamēr Garai (Takajuki Jamada) par mācītāju mazā baznīcā... Viņi tur noslēpumā lietas, kas ar viņiem notikušas, tajā pat laikā palēnām noskaidrojot atbildīgos cilvēkus par šo masu slaktiņu, par kuru visa pasaule tiek turēta neziņā...

Kamēr Garai cenšas rast mieru pie Dieva, Juki, kurš, glābjot Garai, ieelpoja nelielu gāzes devu, ir kļuvis par inteliģentu ļaunuma iemiesojumu, vērpjot afēras ar mērķi nogalināt visus, kas ir vainīgi pie MW, notikumiem salā un arī tos, kas stājas viņa ceļā...
