Stāsts
Nagiko (Vivian Wu) ir Japānas izcelsmes modele, kura dzīvo Honkongā. Viņa meklē mīļākos, kas spētu apmierināt viņas miesas kāri savietojumā ar mīlestību pret dzeju un kaligrāfiju...

Viņas apsēstības ar kaligrāfiju un dzeju saknes ir meklējamas bērnībā Kjoto pilsētā, kad Nagiko tēvs (Ken Ogata) meitenes dzimšanas dienās rakstīja uz viņas sejas simbolus ar veiksmes vēlējumiem.

Kādu dienu Nagiko sastop Džeromu (Ewan McGregor), tulku ar kuru viņa var apmierināt savu miesu, kā arī dalīties dzejā un kaligrāfijā aprakstot viens otra ķermeņus.

Tomēr lietas mainās, kad Nagiko uzzina, ka Džeroms ir biseksuālis, kuram bijušas homoseksuālas attiecības ar kādas izdevniecības īpašnieku (Yoshi Oida), kurš savukārt ir bijis Nagiko tēva ienaidnieks...
