Kādu dienu, meitene staigājot pa mežu, iekrīt noslēpumainā alā... Tā ir klāta ar ledu un tajā ir vairākas milzīgas olas... Tomēr cilvēki izdzirdējuši par viņas stāstu neuztver to nopietni...

Pēc kāda laika maza ciemata iedzīvotāji secina, ka vairākas pārmaiņas laika apstākļos, netālu no Fudži kalna, ir pamodinājušas senu dinozauru, kurš apmetas Sai ezera dibenā un sāk uzbrukt dzīvajām radībām...

Tiek saplosīti dzīvnieki un vēlāk arī cilvēki... Tomēr publikas reakcija uz notiekošo ir visai skeptiska...

Kāds zinātnieks cenšas izpētīt situāciju un pierādīt, ka dinozauri eksistē arī šobaltdien... Klājas gūti, tomēr neatlaidība un mērķtiecība ļauj viņam apstiprināt savu teoriju...

Uzsākas masveida slepkavošana... Cilvēki meklē risinājumus, kā nogalināt senlaicīgo monstru...
