Anotācija:

Desmitgadīgajam Tadashi (Ryunosuke Kamiki) dzīve nav no vieglajām... Mamma izšķiras no tēva un kopā ar viņu un vectēvu pārvācas dzīvot no Tokijas uz kādu mazu pilsētiņu...

Jaunajā skolā Tadashi tiek apcelts un dažādi aizskarts, bet ar to vēl nepietiek, jo vectēvs pamazām sāk jukt prātā un vairs nepazīst savu mazdēlu...

Kādu dienu Tadashi ieblandās kādā vietējā festivālā, kur viens no festivāla dalībniekiem tērpies drakona kostīmā norāda uz Tadashi un paziņo, ka tas ir izvēlēts par Kirin Raider.

Kirin Raider ir vietējais varonis, kurš rūpējas par cilvēku aizsardzību, taisnīgumu un patiesību. Ir leģenda, ka šim varonim ir jākāpj netālajā kalnā un jāiegūst leģendārs zobens, kuru glabā varenais Goblins...

Tadashi nolemj doties uz kalnu, bet pusceļā nobīstoties, tas bēg... Iesēdies autobusā, tas sastop kādu mazu radībiņu – Sunekosuri. Izrādās, ka Sunekosuri ir yokai...

Pēc mirkļa Tadashi tiek ierauts notikumu vētrā, kurā viņam nākas sastapties ar dažādiem yokai, un apvienoties ar tiem cīņā pret ļauno Agi (Chiaki Kuriyama) un citiem tumšajiem spēkiem...
